• QR Code Scans: When you scan the QR code on our packaging, we may collect the time, date, and approximate location (city-level only) of the scan to provide batch traceability information.
• Location Data: Approximate location (city/state) for delivery logistics and regional product availability, only with your consent.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

• Payment Gateways: Payment confirmation data (not your full card number) from Razorpay, PayU, or UPI platforms.
• Social Login: Name, email, and profile photo if you log in via Google or Facebook, as permitted by those platforms.
• Delivery Partners: Order status and delivery confirmation data from our logistics and 3PL partners.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information only for legitimate business purposes:

• Order fulfilment: To process, pack, and deliver your orders; to send order confirmation and tracking information.
• Account management: To create and manage your PANEVO account; to remember your delivery preferences and subscription settings.

• Product quality communication: To share batch Certificate of Analysis (COA) information linked to your QR scan; to notify you of any product recalls or quality alerts.
• Marketing & promotions: To send promotional offers, new product announcements, recipe ideas, and brand updates - only if you have opted in. You may opt out at any time.
• WhatsApp communications: If you join our WhatsApp community or broadcast list, to send recipe content, product updates, and announcements.
• Platform improvement: To analyse usage patterns and improve our website, app, and checkout experience.
• Legal compliance: To comply with applicable Indian laws, FSSAI regulations, GST requirements, and court orders.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

• Consent: For marketing communications, WhatsApp broadcasts, and cookie-based tracking.
• Contractual necessity: For processing orders, managing subscriptions, and providing customer support.
• Legal obligation: For FSSAI compliance, GST record-keeping, and responding to government authorities.

6. Data Retention

• Order and transactional data: Retained for 7 years as required by Indian GST and accounting laws.
• Account data: Retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
• Marketing data: Retained until you opt out. Post opt-out, retained in suppression list to prevent future unsolicited contact.
• QR scan logs: Retained for 2 years for product traceability and quality assurance.
• Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights:
